In 1987, stereolithographic (SLA) 3D printing was first commercialized, changing the ways creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs develop new technologies. Nearly 40 years later, most of the products we use are not designed or manufactured in the United States. Our goal is to support the growth of U.S.-based design and manufacturing through partnerships that span both domestic and global communities.

Product development is approached through a structured, cross‑functional process that covers concept ideation, feasibility analysis, detailed design, rapid prototyping, and rigorous testing. The focus is on translating ideas into viable, manufacturable solutions while optimizing performance, cost, and time‑to‑market.

Engineering Services
87 R&D delivers a full spectrum of solutions— design, analysis, and simulation —across electrical, robotics, hardware and AI Engineering. Focus lies on innovative, client‑centered outcomes that drive performance and cost efficiency.
Important Note
Services that require a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)—such as legally binding design approvals, signed engineering documents, or compliance reviews mandated by regulatory bodies—are not provided. For projects needing PE‑licensed oversight, referrals can be made.
